Fallout no longer crashes! Finally it works! It works! I played it 1.5 hours straight without any crashes! Oh what a momentous day, I will always remember this day! Oh yeah, and there was an election.
How I got fallout 3 to stop crashing. As I posted in the following two forums:

I tried all of below, before turning on anti-aliasing, I originally had it off for performance reasons, thinking I had to, but I turned it on to test, and I just ran 1.5 hours straight, no crash.

tried connecting to the internet directly through the dsl modem instead of through the server
-no luck

tried running fallout3.exe
-no luck, a little more stable though, 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds
using fallout3.exe from this point on
switched to only 1 enabled network connection
-no luck
only one network connection from this point on
tried not using usb headphones
-no luck
using built in laptop speakers from this point on
changed realtek to stereo
-no luck
tried it in compatability mode (win2000)
-no luck, changed it back
changed the ini file for the shadow mem
-no luck
-added in the compatability mode fix
-no luck, no locked in stead of crashed
-tried each compatability mode
-no luck
rolled back the ini
-tried each compatability mode
-no luck
rolled back compatability mode
installed K-Lite
-no luck

Good old days My words of wisdom for the day, "The good olds days really weren't that good. That's why we try to evolve."

Also, I found out today that there is an hour in the morning that I really don't want to hear massive negativity. I found this out as a bus driver and bus patrons started complaining about the world, at 7am. As far as I'm concerned, the world isn't completely there yet that early, so stop picking on it.
